Anime Vanguards Codes

Tier lists for Anime Vanguards go out of date quickly and often disagree. This table compares three of them: the official Anime Vanguards Wiki's Top 8 (last revised September 23, as reported by timesaver and vanguards.run, which re-checked it in late October), Pro Game Guides (October 15, made for Update 15.0) and TechWiser (October 14). A dash means that list does not rank the unit.

The wiki does not use letter grades. It ranks units from best to worst, so its column shows the overall position. It had not ranked any of the new 2nd Anniversary units yet, which is why True Shadow Monarch and God Ascended have no wiki rank.

The safest picks are the ones every list agrees on. Apathetic Savior (Door) and Rogita (Super 4) sit at the top of all three, and the wiki puts Apathetic Savior first because it leads its Utility, Support and Crowd Control columns. Among the anniversary units, True Shadow Monarch is in the top tier of every list that ranks it, and Phrasemaker's list of the new units puts it alone at the top.

True Shadow Monarch is not a banner unit. Pro Game Guides, AllThingsHow and games.gg all describe it as a Transcendent evolution of Song Jinwu and Igros, unlocked through the Player Quest, so do not sell your base Song Jinwu early. Treat a one-step difference between lists as noise, and expect this Anime Vanguards tier list to move once the wiki ranks the 15.0 units.

Update 15.0, the 2nd Anniversary update, arrived in mid-October 2026: guides give October 11 as the release, and Kitawari's changelog is dated October 12. The game's Roblox title is currently Vanguards: 2nd Anniversary, which is why some searches no longer find it as Anime Vanguards. It is the same game from the Kitawari group, and the codes on this page work in it.

The anniversary brought two kinds of Anime Vanguards codes: seven 2ndAnniDay codes, which Gaming Route describes as countdown codes, and four headline codes named after the update. TrueShadowMonarch gives a Red Key along with 50,000 Gems and 500 Stat Chips, and Finally gives 1,000 Memoria Shards, 100,000 Gold and 30 Rainbow Essences.

Anime Vanguards is a Roblox tower defense game first published in January 2024. The official description sets the story up simply: an event has caused multiple worlds to collide, and you summon units to fend off enemies, level them up and evolve them, and play with friends across several game modes.

It is one of the biggest games of its kind. When we checked on October 27, 2026 it had passed 2.09 billion visits and 2 million favorites, with about 22,000 people playing at once. The Kitawari group behind it has more than 5 million members.

The official Discord is at discord.gg/animevanguards. We checked it on October 27, 2026: it opens the Vanguards server, with about 1.23 million members, and the invite is permanent. New Anime Vanguards codes, banners and patch notes are announced there first.

The fan wiki that maintains the tier list above takes suggestions through that same Discord, so it is also the place to see when the 15.0 units get their official ranks.

If the Codes window rejects one of the Anime Vanguards codes above, check these first:

• Capitals: codes like 2ndAnniversary and TrueShadowMonarch must keep their exact capitals. Use the Copy button.
• Level: Assault and SummerLeaving need level 10, AnniNextHopefully needs level 30.
• Expired: older update codes such as LagGone, DMCAFree and Liberation no longer work, even though some lists still show them.
• Already used: each code works once per account.

We check Anime Vanguards codes by hand. A code goes into the main table only when at least two independent sources agree on it, or when it comes straight from the official game description or rules. Codes that only one source reports, or that sources disagree on, are kept in a separate unconfirmed table, so you can still try them without mistaking them for confirmed codes. A code moves to the expired list once it is reported as no longer working.

Every code is listed exactly the way the game expects it, with the same capital letters, numbers and symbols, so the safest way to enter one is the Copy button next to it rather than typing it by hand. A code that turns out to be wrong is moved to the right table, never silently deleted.
