What the Roblox player count on this page measures

The Roblox player count at the top of this page is the number of people playing the games on Roblox's own home page right now. Every 15 minutes we read the public lists Roblox shows on its Charts and Home pages, such as Top Playing Now, Top Trending, Up-and-Coming and Fun with Friends. Together those lists hold roughly 880 different games, and each one comes with Roblox's own count of players currently in its servers.

We add those counts together to get the combined figure, and we sort the same games by players to build the table. The numbers are the concurrent players Roblox reports for each game, which is the number of people in that game at the moment we checked, not the number who played it today.

That makes the combined figure a lower bound for the whole platform. Roblox has millions of experiences, and the ones outside the home page lists, from small obbies to private group games, are not included. The top Roblox games carry most of the traffic, so the total moves the same way the platform does, but it is not the official total for every player online.

How to read the most played Roblox games table

Each row in the table is one game from the latest Roblox player count update, ranked by how many people are playing it right now. The columns are:

  • Players now: the live Roblox player count for that game at the time shown above the table.
  • 24h peak: the highest count we recorded for the game in the last 24 hours. Games that only just entered the top lists may not have a peak yet.
  • Likes: the share of thumbs-up votes out of all votes, the same score Roblox shows on the game's page.
  • Codes: games we have a code page for link straight to it, so you can grab working codes before you join.

Use the genre buttons to narrow the list, or type part of a game's name in the search box. Game names are shown exactly as the developer writes them, including event tags in brackets, which is why a name can change from one day to the next while the game stays the same.

Why the Roblox player count rises and falls every day

Roblox players are spread across every time zone, but not evenly, so the combined Roblox player count moves in a daily wave: it climbs as the biggest player regions finish school and work, peaks in their evening, and falls back overnight. The chart above shows the hourly high for the last seven days, in UTC, so you can see where the wave peaks and how weekends compare with school days.

Single games follow their own rhythm on top of that wave. A game that is popular in one region peaks when that region is awake, and a game with a big update can jump for a few hours and then settle back. That is why we show both the live count and the 24 hour peak: the live number tells you how busy servers are right now, and the peak tells you how big the game really is.

Updates, events and the Roblox charts

Updates are what move a game up the Roblox charts. An update usually brings new content, a limited event or new codes, and players come back to try it. Some games keep a fixed schedule: Volleyball Legends, for example, says in its description that it updates every Saturday. Others update whenever a new feature is ready, and the player count shows each release as a bump.

You can see this on our code pages too. Every Roblox game we cover now has its own player count panel with the last seven days, so you can match a spike to the update or event that caused it. Games like Tower Defense Simulator and Anime Vanguards usually release codes with their updates, and the chart shows how many players came back for them.

Roblox player count, daily users and visits are different numbers

Three numbers get mixed up all the time when people ask how many people play Roblox:

  • Concurrent players are the people online at the same moment. This is what the Roblox player count on this page shows, game by game and combined.
  • Daily active users count everyone who played at least once in a day. Roblox reports this in its quarterly results: it reported 123 million daily active users for the second quarter of 2026, in results published on July 30, 2026.
  • Visits count every time someone joined a game, over the game's whole life. A game with billions of visits may have few players today, and a brand new game can have more players right now than a classic with ten times the visits.

Because of this, a single game's live count can be very large. The record for one experience is about 25.8 million concurrent players, set by Steal a Brainrot in October 2025, according to RoMonitor Stats and news reports at the time.

How we collect the Roblox player count

A small program run by this site reads Roblox's public game data every 15 minutes. It goes through every list on Roblox's home page, removes games that appear in more than one list, and stores the player count for each game. For the games we have code pages for, and for the 100 most played games at each update, it also keeps the history, which is what the charts and peaks are built from.

Once a day it also looks up each game's total visits, favorites and last update time. Roblox limits how often this data can be requested, so if a request is refused, the program skips it and fills the gap on the next run instead of retrying in a loop. Every number on this page comes from Roblox's own public data; we do not estimate or invent players for games that are missing.

History starts on the day we began tracking a game. When a game has less than 30 days of data, its code page says so and shows the peak since the first day we recorded it, rather than calling it a 30 day peak.

What a Roblox player count can tell you

For players, the live count is the quickest way to tell whether a game is worth joining tonight. A game with tens of thousands of players will fill a server in seconds and has an active trading and party scene; a game with a few hundred may have empty servers outside its peak hours. If you are choosing between two similar games, the one with the steadier chart usually has more updates ahead of it.

Rising games stand out too. A new title can climb into the most played Roblox games within weeks of release: Kukirin Life, for example, was created in September 2026 and already had tens of thousands of players online in late October. Like many new games, it released codes early, and we list them on its code page.

For developers and researchers, the 24 hour peak and the like ratio are a fairer comparison than a single snapshot, because they smooth out the time of day you happened to look.

Codes for the most popular Roblox games

Many of the most popular Roblox games release codes for free in-game rewards, usually with updates and milestones. When a game in the Roblox player count table has a code page on this site, its row links to it. Each code page lists the codes we have confirmed with at least two independent sources, codes that are still unconfirmed, the expired ones, and the exact steps to redeem them in that game. You can see every game we cover on the all game codes page, and our guide on how to redeem Roblox codes explains where each game hides its code box.

Roblox player count FAQ

How often is the Roblox player count updated?

Every 15 minutes. The time of the latest update is shown above the table, and each code page shows when its own player count was last refreshed.

Is this the total number of people on Roblox?

No. This Roblox player count is the sum of the roughly 880 games on Roblox's home page lists, which hold most of the players but not all of them. Roblox does not publish a live total for the whole platform; it reports daily active users once a quarter instead.

Why is a game missing from the table?

The table shows the 50 most played games from the latest update. A game that is not on Roblox's home page lists at all is not counted, except the games we have code pages for, which we always track.

What does the 24h peak mean?

It is the highest player count we recorded for that game in the last 24 hours, checked every 15 minutes. It is empty for games that only just entered the top lists.

Where does the data come from?

From Roblox's public game data: the same lists, player counts, votes and visits that Roblox shows on its Charts page and on each game's page. This site is not affiliated with Roblox.
