These are the Scarlet and Violet mystery gift codes that work right now, checked on October 27, 2026. There are five, all cosmetic: a tracksuit for each version and three Rotom Phone cases. Two of them only work in one version, so check which game you own before you enter them.

The battle event codes that give Pokemon, such as Yuma Kinugawa's Hisuian Typhlosion from February 2026, ran for about a week each and have all ended. Below the table you will find how to enter a code in the Poke Portal, where every current code came from, and the difference between shared codes and the one-time codes that come with products.

Expired codes

These codes no longer work. They are listed so you don't waste time trying them.

  • EU1C26HEATWAVE
  • LA1C26TA1LW1
  • EU1C25SUNNYDAY
  • P4LD3AP1CN1C
  • SUPEREFFECT1VE
  • G0TCHAP0KEM0N
  • Y0AS0B1B1R1B1R1
  • 909TEAMUP06

How to enter a Mystery Gift code

  1. Play until you reach the first Pokemon Center, in Los Platos. Mystery Gift is not available before that.
  2. Press X to open the menu and select Poke Portal.
  3. Select Mystery Gift, then Get with Code/Password. The console connects to the internet.
  4. Enter the code exactly as written and confirm.
  5. Pokemon go to your party or boxes and items go to your bag. You can see everything you have claimed under Check Mystery Gifts.

The codes use the number zero and the number one where you might expect the letters O and I. Alucare notes that Pokemon codes avoid the letters I, O and Z for exactly this reason, so if a code fails, check that you typed 0 and 1, not O and I.

Some gifts have no code at all. Dexerto lists a Mythical Pecha Berry that you collect with Get via Internet, and it needs The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC.

Where the current codes came from

All five working codes are shared codes, which means everyone can use the same code once on their save. Serebii, which keeps a record of every serial code distribution for these games, lists their origins:

Origin of the current Pokemon Scarlet and Violet codes (Serebii)
CodeWhat it givesReleased
STRACKSU1T / VTRACKSU1TA new tracksuit, different in each version, announced during a Pokemon PresentsJuly 22, 2025
SB00KC0VER / VB00KC0VERScarlet Case or Violet Case for the Rotom Phone, available until the service endsFebruary 27, 2025 (Pokemon Day)
NE0R0T0MC0VERNeo Kitakami Case, for the release of the DLC epilogueJanuary 15, 2024

None of the five has a published end date, and Serebii describes the two book cases as available until the service ends. That is why these cosmetic codes are still live years after the event codes around them expired.

Event codes that have ended

Pokemon codes for Scarlet and Violet usually come from battle tournaments. During the stream of an International Championship, The Pokemon Company shares a code for a copy of a champion's Pokemon, and the code only works for about a week. Serebii records these windows:

  • EU1C26HEATWAVE: Yuma Kinugawa's Hisuian Typhlosion, February 13 to 20, 2026.
  • LA1C26TA1LW1: Federico Camporesi's Whimsicott, November 21 to 30, 2025.
  • EU1C25SUNNYDAY: Marco Silva's Jumpluff, February 2025.
  • P4LD3AP1CN1C: a set of sandwich ingredients, January 17, 2025 to January 16, 2026.
  • SUPEREFFECT1VE and G0TCHAP0KEM0N: an Expert Belt and 30 Quick Balls from a Japanese newsletter, until February 28, 2025.

If you see one of these on another site, it is out of date. New championship codes tend to appear during the big tournament streams, so those are the moments to look for the next one.

Shared codes and one-time codes

Serebii splits Scarlet and Violet distributions into two kinds. Shared serial codes are the ones on this page: one code for everyone, usable once per player. Single-use serial codes are unique to each person and usually come from a product or a visit, such as pre-order bonuses, strategy guides, the DLC purchase, or Pokemon Center stores in Japan, Singapore and Taiwan that give a code during your birthday month.

Serebii's list shows how varied these are: players who attended the Pokemon World Championships received a code for a Toedscool, the release of Pokemon Legends: Z-A came with codes for a Shiny Koraidon in Violet or a Shiny Miraidon in Scarlet, and Pokemon Center stores in Japan, Singapore and Taiwan have given a Fidough during your birthday month.

A one-time code that someone posts online has almost certainly been used already, so there is no point trying it. If you bought a product with a code card, it is entered through the same Get with Code/Password menu.

About Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet are the open-world Pokemon RPGs for Nintendo Switch, released on November 18, 2022. You explore the Paldea region freely, and the two versions differ in some Pokemon and in a few cosmetic items, which is why the tracksuit and book case codes come in a Scarlet and a Violet version.

The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC added two new areas, Kitakami in The Teal Mask and Blueberry Academy in The Indigo Disk, followed by an epilogue in January 2024. The Neo Kitakami case on this page celebrates that epilogue.

Why a Mystery Gift code is not working

If the game rejects a code, check these first:

  • Wrong version: STRACKSU1T and SB00KC0VER only work in Scarlet, VTRACKSU1T and VB00KC0VER only in Violet.
  • Zero and one: the codes use the numbers 0 and 1, not the letters O and I.
  • Already claimed: each code works once per save file. Check Mystery Gifts shows what you already have.
  • Too early: Mystery Gift unlocks at the first Pokemon Center.
  • Ended: event codes such as EU1C26HEATWAVE stopped working when their window closed.

How we check this page

We check Scarlet and Violet mystery gift codes by hand. A code goes into the main table only when at least two independent sources agree on it, or when it comes straight from the official game description or rules. Codes that only one source reports, or that sources disagree on, are kept in a separate unconfirmed table, so you can still try them without mistaking them for confirmed codes. A code moves to the expired list once it is reported as no longer working.

This page was last checked on October 27, 2026. We never make up codes or rewards, and we keep a list of the sources behind every code. If something on this page no longer matches what you see in the game, tell us with the Feedback button and we will check it again.

Every code is listed exactly the way the game expects it, with the same capital letters, numbers and symbols, so the safest way to enter one is the Copy button next to it rather than typing it by hand. A code that turns out to be wrong is moved to the right table, never silently deleted.

Scarlet and Violet mystery gift codes FAQ

What are the working Scarlet and Violet mystery gift codes?

STRACKSU1T or VTRACKSU1T for the tracksuit, SB00KC0VER or VB00KC0VER for the version case, and NE0R0T0MC0VER for the Neo Kitakami case.

Where do I enter Mystery Gift codes?

Press X, open Poke Portal, choose Mystery Gift and then Get with Code/Password.

Is there a code for a free Pokemon right now?

No. The last shared Pokemon code, EU1C26HEATWAVE for Hisuian Typhlosion, ended on February 20, 2026.

Why does my code say it is invalid?

Most often it is for the other version, it uses a letter O instead of the number 0, or it has already been claimed on that save.

Do I need the DLC for these codes?

No for the codes. Only the Mythical Pecha Berry from Get via Internet needs The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero.
